Catholic schools secondary education survey now open
The Catholic Schools Office has today opened a survey into the secondary education in the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. Open to all current parents, students and staff within the Diocese, the survey aims to measure current perceptions and gain insight into future needs of students in Catholic secondary schools and forms part of the wider Study into the Provision of Secondary Education, commissioned in 2013.
Director of Schools, Ray Collins, said the survey is a fantastic opportunity for the diocese’s ever evolving school system to move forward and face the future.
“No one is better placed in our local school communities to provide feedback than those currently engaged such as our parents, students and staff. The results from the survey and wider study will provide us with valuable feedback to assist in planning how best to support the people of our Diocese in the future.” Mr Collins said.
The Study into the Provision of Secondary Education is an initiative of the Catholic Schools Office, being completed on behalf of Bishop William Wright. The study provides an important opportunity to consider the current provision of secondary schooling and the capacity to plan and deliver services to the students of the next quarter of a century.
