CatholicCare Hunter-Manning opens new office in Cardiff
CatholicCare Social Services Hunter-Manning is pleased to announce the opening of a new office, based in Kelton Street Cardiff.
Expanding on the existing services offered throughout the Hunter and Manning regions, the new office at Cardiff will provide disability support, counselling and out of home care services to people of the Lake Macquarie area. The new location will also consolidate services from the existing Charlestown office.
Director of CatholicCare, Helga Smit said the new office provides additional opportunities to connect with the local community:
“We are excited to open a new base in the Lake Macquarie area in such a central location at Cardiff. With existing offices throughout Newcastle, Cardiff is a natural choice for us to continue to grow CatholicCare locally,”
“With the recent introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the changing landscape of social services at both a national and state level, we will continue to diversify and meet the needs of the people we support throughout the local community,” Ms Smit said.
The office will be officially opened on Friday 7th November by Bishop Bill Wright and Minister for Disability Services, the Hon. John George AJAKA, MLC from 10.30am.
